Cross the region of Ciociaria, walking tour of NAPLES and visit the buried city of Pompeii!

Take the Autostrada del Sole, a major Italian highway, through the Castelli Romani, the wine-producing towns southeast of Rome, where rolling hillsides are completely covered by vineyards. Traverse the picturesque Ciociaria Region and enjoy a view of the Abbey of Montecassino, completely rebuilt after World War II, from the coach. Then take in a scenic view of Naples upon your arrival. Continue to Pompeii, a Roman city that was completely destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Enjoy lunch, then visit the city's famous excavations.
